The stores in Moose Lake are small and aren't really a place someone would go shopping at. We recently just got a Shopko which is about the only place you can go to buy clothes. We have a few gas stations, a nice wellness center(gym), and some cute little stores such as a little coffee shop. We have a one screen theater that is rather old but it does the trick.

In the summer the only weather problem to worry about are the thunderstorms. They don't occur very often and usually are nothing to worry about. One spring there was a flood but that was the only one I've eve heard of around here. The winters can be a little rough depending on the snowfall. There really isn't any weather conditions that concern people here.
The employment in Moose Lake is rather good. We have recently just opened a Shopko and McDonalds which has created new jobs and are soon to be getting a Kwik Trip as well. There is a prison and school located in our town which supply many jobs for the people of this town along with all the little shops.
