Moorpark is a small town 45 minutes north of Los Angeles. It is located in Ventura County and is 30 minutes from the beach. Moorpark is scenically beautiful with rolling hills, lots of parks, and a small-town vibe. It mostly consists of families and old couples, the young adult population isn't very high. We have a college, one of the only colleges with a teaching zoo, that is highly ranked among community colleges in the nation. We also have multiple high-ranking public schools. There isn't a whole lot to do in town, however, there is plenty to do in the neighboring towns. Our community, for the most part, is very respectful and accepting of all people no matter the background.
Moorpark is great! Good food, stores, and schools. There are a ton of cute boutiques here. Mesa Verde is a great middle school, and Moorpark Highschool is amazing. Theatre is also largely supported here, both at the highschool and around town.
