The area is very nice. A downside is that there are areas of which are nicer looking than others which can create divisions among Moorestown residents. Thee schools are extremely competitive but have done a fantastic job of trying to give students a fun, yet still academically challenging year via zoom. The area has a lot to offer including mainstream, which is extremely popular amongst teens as well as a complex of stores and restaurants on called Centerton. Moorestown is both close to the beach as well as the city, making it an ideal place to live with children because there are an endless number of activities to do. Moorestown is very safe for children and the people are very involved in the community, especially when it comes to sports.
Very safe town. Beautiful views, whether you're in the Main Street vicinity or not. You always see people walking their dogs no matter where you are!
I love the town of Moorestown Township. It is a family friendly environment. The township hosts Autum Day, Family Fun Day, Candlelight Night, and Food Truck day as events on mainstreet and at the local park as fun day events for family and individuals. I think more restaurants have opened on main street in the past decade and they really make an effort to have nice outdoor seating. The commute to cherry hill, philadelphia, camden, the beaches and even NYU is unbeatable.
