I have lived in Moon for my whole life. It has been great growing up here. The people are all kind and respectable people. The town is family friendly and always buzzing with those looking for excitement. It is mostly a high school town with the middle and high school in the center. There are many activities at the high school to participate in and also at Robert Morris University. There are many grocery stores, shops, and food restaurants to visit. The housing options are all affordable no matter what your budget may be. Moon strives for peace and equality. Moon township is a great place to start and a raise a family hoping for happiness.
Great school district, close to Pittsburgh and airport. Shopping is nearby and Raccoon Creek State Park is close enough for an afternoon trip. I've loved living here!
Moon is great! No we don't live on the moon, you can't imagine how many times I've heard that "joke". It is close to the airport, major highway, tons of restaurants. It has everything you need and if it doesn't, Robinson is a 10 minute drive. It's a small town feel but it covers a big area. Neighborhoods feel like a small town but as a whole it's pretty big. I've just recently moved but I love that area and that it's close to Pittsburgh. Sounds silly but I wish there were more sidewalks in the area, that's about all I'd change.
