Great school district, close to Pittsburgh and airport. Shopping is nearby and Raccoon Creek State Park is close enough for an afternoon trip. I've loved living here!

Moon is great! No we don't live on the moon, you can't imagine how many times I've heard that "joke". It is close to the airport, major highway, tons of restaurants. It has everything you need and if it doesn't, Robinson is a 10 minute drive. It's a small town feel but it covers a big area. Neighborhoods feel like a small town but as a whole it's pretty big. I've just recently moved but I love that area and that it's close to Pittsburgh. Sounds silly but I wish there were more sidewalks in the area, that's about all I'd change.
My experience in Moon Township started with my college career through Robert Morris University. Robert Morris University is the heart of Moon Township and has become a second home to me. I love living in Moon Township. I now live off campus in an apartment and this is one of the things I would change about Moon Township. The price of living. It's hard to be a student in college with a rent payment that is through the roof. Although the prices in Moon are crazy, I wouldn't trade being a resident here for the world. I love everything about being a Colonial and being able to say that I live in Moon Township. I would have never thought that I would be living in a suburb after growing up on 23 acres of land, not being able to see my neighbors. Living in Moon has not only provided me with the opportunity to live a different lifestyle for the past four years, it has also provided me with memories that will last a lifetime.
