I really like Monment's proximity to the Front Range, Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Denver, and the host of interesting opportunities and fun things that they entail. It should be noted that the actual town of Monument is rather ugly and doesn't have a ton of food choices, although that seems to be changing. If you're looking for a small-town environment, Monument is probably no longer for you. Increased population flow to Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas have practically merged Monument with its larger cousin. This being said, Monument is still a great place to live, and it's elementary, middle, and high schools are consistently high performing.
Monument has changed a lot since this is my hometown. It has expanded rapidly and I'd love to see more restaurants since options are sparse, but overall great little town!
Monument is a very nice area that is extremely safe and a very family-friendly neighborhood! The schools are nice and it is overall a nice town, just a lot of construction.
