I have lived in Montverde for the past 12 years, and the town is super friendly. Nothing gets dull and boring when events such as the Montverde Day or 4th of July occur. There's even a small library called Helen Lehmann in the vicinity where you can rent your favorite movie or read the most thrilling story book ever! While the town is quite small, there is plenty to be involved in.
Montverde is a small town outside of Orlando Florida. Montverde has all of the traits you think of when you hear small town. Everyone knows everyone, and there are still people willing to help each other out. Theres only one restaurant and it is closed on Sundays. The church plays a large part in the community events. Since the town is so small it does not have a night life. The town is also too small to have its own public school, so the kids in Montverde travel to the city of Minneola. Montverde is an affordable place to live. One downside to Montverde is there aren't many things to do, or go. If you are looking for entertainment you probably have to go outside of Montverde. Montverde has a very family friendly environment, and overall it is a great place to live.
Montverde - meaning green mountain is a lovely area outside of Orlando in central Florida. The small town sits between multiple lakes include Lake Apopka, Lake Minneola, and Lake Minnehaha. I love the rolling hills (hills in Florida), the openenness, and friendly neighbors.
