Plenty of things to do and see such as malls and restaurants. Short commute to downtown Pittsburgh and right at the turnpike. Great school district.
Monroeville is a great business borough. All of the small business and restaurants are located in one route, which makes it convenient for shopping or dining. Monroeville is a safe town, and many neighborhoods have their own neighborhood watch program. The Gateway High School is a good college prep school, and they have tons of dual enrollment and AP classes.
Family oriented. Plenty of things to do and see such as malls and restaurants. Short commute to down town pittsburgh and right at the turnpike. Great school district
I like that Monroeville is a community that takes care of each other and has so much to do. However, I do not like the commute or traffic in the area as it can be so backed up during random hours of the day from rush-hour to simply being near the turnpike and parkway.
I love the diversity throughout every part of Monroeville. I would like to see some more support for the environment and saving the environment.
very safe neighborhood, however you will encounter deer a lot. the mall is nice, and there are a lot of stores to shop at.
Monroeville is a great area to live in and raise a family. It is a suburb of Pittsburgh which is a quiet city compared to others. However, it still has a very tight knit feel where everyone is friendly in passing and there is not a high crime rate. Monroeville is also a center to many other communities and it has an easy access to the PA Turnpike. It also has two hospitals and tons of shops to go to. The education at Gateway has been ranked high in the past and continues to produce promising students.
I have lived in Monroeville my entire life, and I love how it is in such close proximity to a variety of places and activities.
There are many great places to eat, shop, and hangout in and around Monroeville making it a great place to hangout or visit.
I have lived in Monroeville my entire life. It is so close to the city, and there are many fun things to do.
Monroeville is a family friendly suburban area full of fun, shopping, and eating! The public schools are full of educated teachers and administrators who want to see their students succeed. There are apartments and houses available to fit your budget and the neighborhood and if looking for a job there are staffing agencies that can help with that. Although the nightlife is not exciting, the city is about 15 minutes away and I'm sure there's something you could find that'll fit your interest.
Monroeville, PA is a great place to live and everything is close by! In Monroeville, there are many restaurants whether you'd like fast food or to dine in and if you're more into cooking you can find what you're looking for in one of the many grocery stores/markets. There is also an array of shopping from the Monroeville Mall to plazas or car lots! Though the nightlife isn't as impressive as many may hoped, the City of Pittsburgh is full of fun things to do and is about 15 minutes away!
Much better then the City of PGH. People are much kinder and have respect for not only themselves but for the community. Property is taken care of, there is very little to no trash on the ground, and while there is roadwork, you can actually see that they are doing something, not just taking coffee breaks.
Public safety is a must-have in my mind. Without good coverage of all emergency services, any given area will suffer. Monroeville's public safety is strong. The municipal police force is responsible, professional, and dedicated to service. The Fire/EMS department is well-equipped and well-staffed as well as passionate and knowledgeable.
Monroeville is a nice area. There are a lot of community events to get involved with and a variety of nice public spaces such as the park and the library. The area is also very diverse, which is nice.
Close to Pittsburgh and fun to live in.
Most people keep their houses and yards looking nice and there are hardly any vacant or abandoned houses. I have no idea about the cost of the houses, but I know the house I live in now is worth much more money than it was when my parents bought it because they have added a patio and other outdoor things as well as added improvements to the interior of the house.
