Outstanding town with quaint small town feel, but amenities typically found in a large town. Their is some blighted residential properties, but the city is working hard on clearing them out. They have a beautiful library, theater, and the parks are unmatched pretty much in any Missouri town. Cost of living is super low, but so are wages. Perfect if you are looking to move and already have an income. You can always find a fun and inexpensive activity regardless of your age group. All things considered, I wouldn't live anywhere else.
I love living in Moberly. It's a small town with some of the benefits of a big town with some of the stores we have. Moberly has multiple parks, I encourage individuals new to town to check out how Rothwell Park. It has so much to offer such as a trail that goes throughout the park, a dog park, multiple play areas, multiple good fishing areas, camping, designated areas for sports, and more.
I like the community and the safety of Moberly. If you need a hand, someone is there to help you out. A good community for families. However, more attention needs to go to public school systems. Specifically, the high school (as of 2019) has no bullying system for its students. Giving attention to this detail would greatly improve the community.
