Moapa Valley is a small town with conservative views, mostly members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you are in need of some grub no fear McDonalds is here, as one of the three food options you can chose from for you nutrient consuming needs. It also is one of the only places where you can look out into your backyard and not only see your lovely natural landscape but wild coyotes and aggressive quails that love to squirm their way into your warm, inviting home. Not only is it a close knit community, you never have to worry about carrying the burden of keeping a secret to yourself because every stay at home mom with the accessibility to wifi will share it for you via Facebook on Moapa valleys very own page dedicated to lie and share gossip about other moms, teenagers, and new residents, all behind the screen of course so everyone's feelings are spared, known as Moapa valley Rant and Rave. Over all its a wonderful place to live 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Moapa Valley is an amazing tight-knit community, where you can share your bonds and burdens with everyone you know. It's the type of town that when you go to the local Lin's grocer, you know everyone you see! I love being able to walk across the street to close friends, or stay out late at night and know that I am safe. Moapa Valley allows you to be the big fish in the little pond. You get all the opportunities you want, and the chance to be at the top of all of them. I love this town!
I have been associated with Moapa Valley for about 11 years now and I personally love it out here. The people are great and it is a very safe place for children to grow up. With Mesquite only 30 minutes away and Las Vegas being an hour away, you never run out of things to do. This is a football town! Everyone in town goes to the high school football games whether they have kids playing or not. There is even a flag football team for the girls to play! Everyone in town knows everyone or is related to each other in some sort of way. The religion is basically split majorities being Mormon (LDS) or Catholic.
