Never bored, always something to do in Minnetonka!
If I'm in the mood for shopping, I'll head down to Ridgedale. I've been going there since I lived in Buffalo, MN. A walk along any of our lakes is a great time, unless it's below freezing, then not so fun. But plenty of winter activities to do as well!

Minnetonka is a safe place to live, and since I have a family, that's my most important metric. It is very expensive, and unfortunately not very diverse (dissenting opinions aren't even really tolerated). But it is safe and secure!
Minnetonka seriously lacks economic and ethnic diversity. If you do not have a nice house with a spouse who has a nice job and a dog with a white picket fence, expect your child to struggle socially in the school system. The city is very wealthy and stuck up on all fronts. Constant competition with barbie doll moms on who volunteers the most at her kids schools while looking the best... The education is great, but diversity is SO important and they cannot provide. Not how I want to raise my child. Moving my son out of Minnetonka to St. Louis park instead.
