Growing up in Minnetonka has been a wonderful experience. The neighborhoods are safe and family friendly. The public schools in Minnetonka and around the area provide proper education for all students. With Lake Minnetonka being so close, it is a great place during the summer for boating, swimming, and just walking around the lake. It is also not very far from Minneapolis or St. Paul, with many bus routes that connect the two.
Review Minnetonka
I love Minnetonka, MN. I've grown up in Minnetonka all my life. There are lots of parks and little hangout spots all over town for children, teenagers, adults, and elders to socialize or catch some peace and quiet. The area is beautiful and has lots to do. If I were to change one thing about Minnetonka, MN, I would have more young people my age move to it.
I love living in the Minnetonka area. We moved here in June next to Lake Minnetonka. Our community is very close and I know most of the people in my neighborhood. Compared to the rest of the world I would rank it towards the top of the list of places I've ever been. If I could do it all over again I would choose the same area because it's a great place to grow up with low crime rates and a very close knit community. The only thing I would change would be cost of living because things get very expensive and there aren't many fordable dining areas around the city. In the future I see it being one of the more popular areas to live because of lake access, variety of food and shopping options, and the home good feeling. Hopefully more attractions come to the area because besides the lake and shopping, there isn't too much to do especially in the cold Minnesota winters.
