I have lived in Minden my whole life! I love it! My favorite thing about Minden is our annual Minden St. Jude Auction where we raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I have always been very involved in this fundraiser, but it recently became very special to me because I am now a St. Jude patient.

I like the culture of Minden and how historic it is. It's a small town so people are very closely connected and we all support each other. Minden is one of the top towns for St.Jude for raising such a drastic amount of money considering we're a small town. If I could change anything about Minden, I would put more things for kids to do. If kids or high school students want to do anything fun we have to go to Bossier which is 30 minutes away. I would probably put a movie theatre in or a bowling alley.
The city of Minden is a very loving and family oriented town. I have lived in Minden since i was nine years old. Although Minden does not have much night life, there are still plenty of activities constantly going on that are family friendly and are very welcoming to all. Minden is well known to be a giving community. One thing i love about the city of Minden is the annual St. Jude auction held at the civic center.
