Milwaukie is a great suburb to live in! There are plenty of bike/walking trails. Lots of parks, a few by the waterfront, to take your children to play. The library is quaint and the staff is friendly. Lots of wonderful restaurants too! Traffic is negotiable and mostly pretty easy to drive around. The new Max line offers an easy and inexpensive downtown. There are plenty of quiet neighborhoods that feel pretty safe. Living in Milwaukie is a nice place to raise kids. Centrally located, but with a small town feel.

I loved how milwaukie is kind of smaller, so many people know each other. I also love the location! Right next to beautiful Portland. Also there is many things to do in Milwaukie so it's not boring. I would like to see the amount of homeless people change, there isn't that many compared to downtown Portland, but we do still get a lot.
Small town, making everything walking distance. Transportation varies but TriMet is very popular and handy!
