I love living here. There is a small town feel, but there is a larger city only nine miles from Milton Freewater, called Walla Walla, Wa.
Milton Freewater, Oregon is a small agricultural town with a diverse population of foreign Hispanics and Americans. Reason being, the towns land is rich for farming, which provides cheap labor for those new to the country. I've lived all my life here, and even though there is not much to do, the community holds a strong bod during tough situations. When trouble comes heritages go unnoticed and we all stand as one to help those grieving or in danger. That is something I will forever appreciate from my small town.
I would like to see more things to do for kids and families in general. Clean up the parks we have such by covering up the graffiti and having survalliance cameras in order to prevent criminal activity and create a safe environment for children to play.
