I immigrated to the United States in April 2016. I remember coming here, and instantly falling in love with the steep mountains and lush green parks. My mom has never worried about me, being a girl, stepping out for walks in my neighborhood park after dinner, or walking to the close by market complex, which, by the way, has a lot amenities. It has whatever we could possibly need on an urgent basis. A Walgreens pharmacy, Pure water,Mcdonalds for last minute to-go food, is all walking distance.Where it probably lacks, the job opportunities. Milpitas, being a small town has scarce job opportunities. Also, my neighborhood is dominated by Asians, which leaves little room for ethnic diversity. How ever, Schools are centrally located, which makes it easier for kids to commute daily. It is a pretty decent place to live, especially if you're new to the country as people are friendly and approachable. In a nutshell, if you want to live an easy-going, comfortable, quiet life, choose Milpitas!

I love Milpitas! It’s a great, safe area with both freeways close by. I am able to run around my neighborhood without worry. They have great shopping stores and awesome restaurants of different cultures.
Milpitas is a four mile long city smacked right in the middle of Fremont and San Jose. I've been living here ever since I was four and it's such a beautiful city to live in. The location is perfect since it's in the middle of two major cities and only an hour away from San Francisco. Milpitas is always adding new stores and restaurants to check out, while updating and modernizing older buildings. The past years they constructed the Valley Health Center, expanded the Milpitas Library, built the City Hall and added 24 Hour Fitness to the Milpitas Shopping Center. Milpitas is a great city to live in and it will always be called home.
