My family and I moved to Millstone from Staten Island, New York four years ago and I have to say it was one of the best things that happened to me. At first I didn't like it because of how far apart everything is and how different It is compared to crowded New York. When school started up I started to make friends and I felt very good about the position I was in and how much of a good move it was to take a chance and move somewhere different. Everyone out here is friendly and nice. The houses are very outgoing and for a great price, even though everything in my town is far away I like it because I get to go out and travel. In the end I'm proud to say I live in Millstone!
Millstone Township has the potential to be a beautiful town, but the people you encounter there are far from it. Some of the greatest people I have met are from there, sure, but overall, Millstone Township is not a "warm and welcoming" community. I wish I could speak more highly of my hometown, but sadly, there is not much nice to say about it. There is virtually nothing to do other than a few parks and two pizzerias. One aspect of this town I can speak highly of is the education system. The schools in Millstone have many wonderful teachers and is fairly high ranking compared to other schools within the state. Overall, my experience in Millstone Township is far from the "small-town life" many people dream of.
Millstone is an amazing town! Great people. Calm atmosphere with a rural feel. Located in the heart of New Jersey, you can easily access major cities and towns within 30 min to 1 hour. Only a short drive to the shore!
