It's very safe for kids and teenagers to walk around town, and the public schools are fairly good as well.
Millis is a great town. Only 8K people live here. It is also small with many good roads so it is easy to get from one place to another. It is quiet. No crime. It is less than 5 minutes to a commuter rail station and only 15 minutes from shopping areas in Norwood or Natick. The only problem I see with it is that there aren't a lot of businesses. I am forever running to Milford or Medway or Franklin to buy things.
Great town just quiet and almost no job opportunities. There is a moderate police presence, but I've never seen any major crime or incidents. Public schools are very small and quiet, which is good. No news is good news usually.
