Middletown has not only been my home for my entire life but has been an ever changing yet historically rich city nestled right in the middle of Connecticut. Boasting a fabulous Main Street loaded with restaurants, shops, and outings and the home to Wesleyan university this city with a small town feel has something for everyone! My personal favorite part of Middletown though is the people! Middletown despite being a city has a very small town feel where everyone knows each other. I can't go to the grocery store without bumping into at least 3 people I know. Beyond that, Middletown is constantly changing and being renewed by our outstanding public works department and mayor! d

We have lived there for 25 years in westfield the "quiet corner". True to its name its in the middle of everything. Easy access to all highways, every store and service you could imagine. Different areas of middletown have very different characterictics and I can only speak for the Westfield section. I wouldnt want to live near downtown, but its great to visit. Main street is vibrant. Great place for raising kids. Kidcity is a gem! There is a lot to do for free in the area. Crime statistics are different depending where you are, so I am only rating our area. Diversity very different in the elementary schools. I give our area high marks for healthy living because of the amount of farms in the area where you can get anything from duck eggs to beef.
I am currently a resident in Middletown, Connecticut and I have lived here all 18 years of my life. Middletown is a great place to live and it is full of life and diversity. It is a safe city and our crime rate is is lower than most cities. Middletown is home to Wesleyan University an Ivy League school that excels in athletics and academics. Overall Middletown is a great place to live!
