Middleton has been an incredible place for us to raise our family. The schools are top notch and genuinely care about social emotional development just as much as academics. Middleton offers a great deal of wonderful parks, trails, boating, fishing, splash pads, swimming, shopping and dining! The list is endless!
As for crime, we've personally never experienced anything scary. Our particular neighborhood has always felt very safe, inclusive and welcoming. However, I don't agree with the average home price that niche lists. Most homes are priced between $580k-$800k.

Middleton is one of the best places to live in Wisconsin. Despite being a small city there are places you can visit and things to do there. There are many parks, restaurants, nature trails, and bars. It is a small inviting town and a great place to recommend for families who want to settle and raise their children because it is a safe environment. It also has many good schools there and the education in Middleton is very fulfilling. It is a suburban city, with a nice community and the people are friendly there. After all, it is known as "The Good Neighbor City," for a reason.
Middleton is a safe place to live; many are quite wealthy, which makes the school nicer and the parks and public commodities better. The housing market here is very expensive, and almost impossible to buy a house here.
