It's a newer community and the place that I have been to, the Ravines, was a good and quiet experience but it's too far from anything. The mall is 30 minutes away, if you're military, it's like a 40 minute drive, they're always doing construction and causing traffic jams. If you want somewhere quiet to live with a few fast food chains around, then this is the place for you.
Middleburg is a very safe community. Although people are moving here from Jacksonville more and more, it still remains safe with the amped up efforts of the local police force. I feel safe here with my son, and I would prefer to stay here rather than move to Jacksonville.
My husband is a disabled vet, when he finally got out of the military we knew we wanted to settle down in Florida so we could be closer to our family. We found a perfect spot in middleburg were we could have privacy and property but still have access to shopping centers and grocery stores. We couldn’t picture moving anywhere else.
