I have been in Miami Lakes since I was 2 years old. I really love that we have everything here! From nightlife to hospitals to great restaurants. I do wish there would be a little more lighting in some streets as some streets are relatively dark and hard to see regardless of car headlights. Other than that, I do love Miami Lakes. My gym is walking distance and we also have a little Miami Lakes Mover transit system for free! Lots of great parks to enjoy as well as activities for everyone.

Small Town. Very friendly resident. Perfect for families with lots of restaurants and shops. On main Street there is a movie theater, pizza shop and ice cream!
Miami Lakes is a great area to grow a family. The community is welcoming and friendly. The area is very expensive compared to other areas in Miami, but you are close to major highways, shopping, parks, and the best school district. All it is missing is a good hospital, the best hospital is located about 8 miles away. There isn't a lot of healthy options to eat in the area just yet, but I am confident they will soon. They started building additional commercial and real estate nearby. This area has always been safe, and there is a lot of business in the area for Job opportunities.
