I've lived here all my life and i would never change that. Being in a middle sized town like this means you know most of the town but you still get to meet new people! Everyone's friendly and always wanting to help out!

You get that home town feeling from everyone you meet. At the schools the teachers, secretary, and staff know you by name. The community rally around the children in education and sports. Small businesses are supported in our small town.
Mexia is a family oriented townbut there isnotmany career opportunities and not much diversity. There is not any night life or much home development.
