My experience with Mesquite has been amazing! For the most part, Mesquite is a very safe community with loving members that distribute to our community. I am involved in community service learning opportunities that help my community grow. In the 17 years I have lived here, safety has never been an issue. Mesquite has plenty of great restaurants, art centers, shopping centers, and outdoor activities.

I enjoy the peacefulness within Mesquite. The culture is very different depending on where you go, there is Old Mesquite which gives a retro vibe and continues into a more modern version of Mesquite. The schools have amazing programs and the district cares for each program as well. The food places are always busy no matter what day but is honestly worth the wait! The mall isnt the best but it is a very good shopping center just not as fancy as Dallas.
I am a fairly new resident to Mesquite. I have lived here for a year. It is the perfect size for my family. There are several things to do in our town, no matter how varied your interests may be. There are several parks located within a few miles of our house. Last year we had a craft and antique show at the Treasure Barn Sale. One of my family's favorite things has been the vendors that set up several Saturdays a month. They have home made goodies- edible and giftable, local honey, local fruits and vegetables, crafts and too many other things to name!
