Mentor on the Lake is a safe, quiet neighborhood located in a convenient location. There is pretty much everything you need within a mile of your home from Lake Erie, to grocery stores and restaurants, to hardware stores and drug stores. The police station is in close proximity to pretty much everyone and they are quick to respond. Also access to the freeway is pretty good as well.

The four seasons are crazy to the extremes. We have fairly hot summers for living up north, weather is usually eighty to ninety degrees Fahrenheit in the summers. Spring and fall sometimes just merge with winter or summer. The winters lately have been so bitterly cold. But usually we get enough snow for the kids to play in and a few snow days too. The best part is we rarely get any natural disasters, the most we will get is a thunderstorm here or there from a tropical storm that is going on in the east coast. The one wardrobe rule for Ohio is layers. The weather changes all the time so you have to be ready for hot to cold (especially in the summer because everywhere has AC)
Because I do only live 20 minutes from Cleveland, a lot of people in my neighborhood find employment there. There are also various business of all kinds in my town. I would say that most of them are restaurants, retail and grocery stores. Everything else you could probably find in the city.
