Working in Menifee
I love living in Menifee, CA! It is very family oriented. Cost of living is affordable. They have charter schools and public schools to choose from. They have plenty of shopping options and are building a movie theater which will improve night life. I wish they would improve the roads.
Menifee is very nice but it is becoming too populated. The roads on Scott need to be fixed. Traffic is insane on both sides of the freeway. There isn't much to do for young adults which makes it pretty boring. We have plenty of places to eat, but nowhere to rewind and hang out with friends. We need movie theatres, malls, bowling allies, roller ranks, etc. In order to do anything fun, you have to drive at least 30 minutes away. Menifee feels like a comfortable, safe place to live. I have never experienced anything too scary or concerning. I think Menifee is a great area to settle down if you are older.
Menifee is good city to live in. Housing is affordable many people commute to work either to LA, San Diego or OC. Its an up and coming city its grown incredibly in the last 5-6 years. It seems every month there is a new restaurant now. That being said.. There is nothing in Menifee for older teenagers to do there is no going to the mall (that's in Temecula) no movie theater(Temecula) there is really nothing. Before the recent growth of Menifee the city as basically a retirement and farming community, there are a bunch of golf courses. There is only 1 high school the kids have an option to be bussed to the high school in Hemet. For young families with little kids there are parks every where there seems to an elementary school every 3 miles. Its a city for young families. Every older teenager (14 to 18) that we know hates it here.
