There are numerous parks, lakes, trails, etc. that allow for a nice weekend picnic or just a quick run. Mendota Heights is a great distance from Mall of America, a popular tourist attraction. Our Summers are hot and the are Winters cold. We also have beautiful sunsets. There are so many things to do around Mendota Heights. Many residents have cabins in Northern Minnesota. We are a perfect distance from those lakeside homes. Minnesota is also known for our State Fair. Mendota Heights is just twenty minutes away from the fun, family orientated tradition. In addition, Mendota Heights is just fifteen minutes away from the Saint Paul-Minneapolis airport. Overall, Mendota Heights is a great community because of our families.

Mendota Heights has been an outstanding community to raise my three children in. It's a suburb in the twin cities but it has a small town community feeling which gives us a sense of belonging and a sense of neighborhood friendliness like no other community I've ever lived in. There are several community get togethers which gives us the opportunity to really get to know our neighbors and have people to rely on. The schools are fabulous, with exceptional test scores, and give my children the academic push needed to succeed.
Great Family suburb! Fun little shops in Mendota center. A lot of walking paths that are dog friendly!
