Mendota is a very close-knit community with around 5,000 people living in it. I was raised there for 18 years so I know every aspect of our town. If you've lived here long enough, you'd know that everyone who lives here knows almost everything about one another. We are a community that is 99% Hispanic and our little town is slowly but surely starting to grow in population and business opportunities.

A small town that keeps growing with great people who seek the best for the community. It is currently xpanding housing and creating job opportunities. Family friendly neighborhood. With great public schools. It counts with a clinic, sheriff department and firefighters department. Most of its population comes from a Latino background. It is a community of farm workers. The cantaloupe center of the world.
My graduating High school class consisted of 130 students who, majority of whom I grew up with and attended school since Kindergarten. I wish this town had more accessibility to activities for children other than what the school can provide for which has been getting better over the years.
As a student, I found it frustrating there wasn't many areas to go and steady besides our library which closes early, and our local coffee shop that provides a place to study but is also a social scene for many of the younger crowds.
