I really love our city pride. In recent years, the Choose901 organization along with local renovations such as Crosstown, have really worked to make our city one that we take pride in despite our reputation for crime. This city has a lot of culture and spirit and I am proud to be a part of such a diverse welcoming community. One of the best parts of our city hands down is St. Jude. This incredible hospital does so much for our children and children around the world . Being able to have something like St. Jude that does such amazing work for our children also makes living in Memphis that much more enjoyable. I have loved this city because I love these people....and the food. Memphis barbecue is the best!

As a life long resident of Memphis, TN I must say that my experience has been pleasant. I can remember as a child, the long summer evenings of playing the park. Then, some days my friends and I would ride and race our bikes from one end of the block to the other on our street. As I think on those good times and great memories, a smile comes to my face! I am a product of the Memphis City School System, from kindergarten to 12th grade. As an adult, I chose to stay here in Memphis and raise my family. I love the fact that Memphis is a city with deep spiritual roots and rich culture! There is nothing like Memphis music and Memphis BBQ!
The are where I lived before I moved to my current location was extremely pleasant whereas there are parts that can be timid, loud and obnoxious. I was born here in Memphis and to come back as an adult, its a challenge living in the city but overall its decent, as I said before, depending on the area.
I love the food! There is so much variety and you have great shopping here. We have many famous attractions here and in surrounding areas.
