It's Kansas. What can you expect? Winter is cold, but sometimes warm. It changes frequently. Summertime is usually hot/humid with little rain, so droughts do occur quite often. Fall and Spring are pretty normal.
Most people that have good paying jobs have to drive 30+ minutes.
