Working in Melrose
Contrary to some reviews, my family and I move to Melrose and we find diversity in the city. In my community, there’s African Americans, Asian Americans, Indian Americans, Hispanic Americans etc. Very peaceful town. Great places to eat. Very good school system. Close enough to Boston. WE LOVE IT!
Great schools, beautiful downtown and safe! Up and coming area that is improving its nightlife and is becoming more diverse.
I moved here when I was in my Junior year of high school, and at first, the town seemed very scary and intimidating. I moved from a very, very small town in Vermont and was scared because of the suburb-city vibe of the town, but since being here, I have grown to really like it. The people here are, for the most part, very nice , there are a lot of opportunities that are very close, being right near he city. There are a ton of restaurants and activities to do nearby, which I had never really had before because I had to travel 45 minutes to get to the nearest Starbucks. It is refreshing to be able to walk out my door and into the world. I love how easy it is to get around and how many different things I can do in one day.
