Not far from Philadelphia or the jersey shore. It’s not a horrible distance from NYC either. Quiet town, reasonable rents and prices for homes. Downside are the shopping centers such as ironstone and Taunton forge that are in sad shape these days. Also I’ve felt hat people are either a little to phony, bias, like to brag, or are sticking their noses in where it doesn’t belong! Otherwise it was a nice place to grow up. However the schools (Medford twp and Lenape high school district) can do not offer good education!

I have lived in this town for 31 years and it hasn’t changed a lot. It is still a sleepy town not far from Philly. It is filled with middle class people, small diverse community. Rents are high as area has a lot of expensive homes. Downtown use to be great, but many businesses closed. New ones come in as fast as they close. Many great restaurants here. Crime low, drug problem high, schools not bad but need serious staff improvement. Teachers paid a lot, but are not good at dedication to students. There are good apples and bad. Some just collecting a pay check. You have some farmlands and much pinelands. The small gems is what people come here for. People in the town are not always the nicest. Many busy minding everyone else’s business. It shows on the towns social media groups.
Overall, I have felt extremely safe living here! Neighborhoods are pretty quiet, and neighbors friendly. It's a perfect small town with great schools in the area, and relatively close in driving distance to places like Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
