Not far from Philadelphia or the jersey shore. It’s not a horrible distance from NYC either. Quiet town, reasonable rents and prices for homes. Downside are the shopping centers such as ironstone and Taunton forge that are in sad shape these days. Also I’ve felt hat people are either a little to phony, bias, like to brag, or are sticking their noses in where it doesn’t belong! Otherwise it was a nice place to grow up. However the schools (Medford twp and Lenape high school district) can do not offer good education!
I moved to Jersey at the age of three and I've loved it here. This boring, amazing, rude, and beautiful town has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. The most that happen are, BMWs in trees, (in my experience) a lot of fires, rocks getting thrown at cars, etc. I met amazing friends, biked everywhere, and knew just about everyone. people look at this town and call it a crapshoot, but I call it home. I would stay in other places for a week or two for vacation, and while it was fun, I can't believe people stand paradise. Sure we have loud bikers, rude kids, and annoying parents but that's what makes us great. were different. The laughs, memories, and stories I've shared here made it amazing. If you've just moved here, give it a chance, we're not Hollywood perfect but were us. hang in there. enjoy our life of paradise. when you leave, you'll understand that good times don't stop to take a photo for you, so make sure you make it so you remember it without a reminder. thanks.
Nice neighborhood, people are usually hit or miss. Schools are interesting. Would be careful about political statements and diversity is severely lacking. Otherwise, pretty ok.
