Medfield Reviews
Rating 4.1 out of 5 49 reviews
The school public school system is academically amazing, but not very supportive of mental health. There are many individuals on staff that care about the individuality of every student, but there are just as many staff that could care less about certain individuals wellbeing. The town is slowing becoming more diverse as well as heavily populated. I graduated with a class of 200 students and this years class is about 220 individuals. Overall, great, friendly town!
Medfield is a small, suburban town, thirty minutes outside of Boston (on a good day with low traffic). The major selling point of the town is the amazing school system. There are many sports, clubs, and extra-curricular your kids can enjoy outside of school also. Most children can be seen "walking uptown" on half-days. The town has a few popular restaurants where the kids collect during those days, and where many families will dine at night.
The town is safe as far as nothing turns up missing from your yard. The town has bullies that gang up on special needs kids. The school is why we moved here. Over all, the school is mediocre. The tax rate is so high, this is why the school can put 3 teachers in a class of 20 kids. The town has very little diversity. If you’re white, you’ll be fine. But if you’re of any other race, parents be prepared to be dealing with the school on a weekly basis. The town maintains the cleanliness, plowing & landscaping very well. The town library has many great activities. The town is dead by 8. Not much to do in the town.
