well, i’ve lived here for my whole life. I plan on leaving for college in the fall of 2021. I like mckenzie for the restaurants/fast food. That’s basically how mckenzie is. I love the movie theater. The people can be nice but can be rude. But it’s decently a very nice town!!
McKenzie is a small rural town in Carroll County. There are great people that live in this small town. They make this town a great place to live, despite the lack of activities to do for young adults. As a teenager, McKenzie wouldn't be the first choice for many, but it is a great place to build lasting friendships and wonderful memories.
Small town with opportunities to receive a good education, be involved in many types of sporting activities, and feel safe. McKenzie is less than 5,000 people and sometimes you think you know everybody when you go to the Dollar General or grocery store. The atmosphere makes you feel welcome and you are able to make life-long friends since most of the high school students in the town are involved with the same activities you are. Finally, McKenzie has a fantastic fireworks show - worthy of a big city.
