My experience in McGregor has been the best years someone could ever have as a student. I live right in between all four campuses, the primary, elementary, junior high, and the high school. Thankfully my parents picked a decent home to live in, we've lived here all our lives. We are a family of ten and not one of us ever went to school on there own. We were all born a two or three years apart so we are all in school with a buddy. I love the support in this town in everything we do. At games, races, and events, we always have a good group of people there to support. I grew up here, I've lived here all my life and I've always felt safe around here. People are very friendly all around, at night we luckily don't have issues. There's not many job opportunities but I think we have enough for a small town like us. Everything seems affordable and we have plenty of parks and places to go to have a good time.

McGregor is where my mom was born and I have spent the last 11 years of my life. It is a small, farming and industrial town with a very diverse culture. My granddad owned the Purina dealership there for over 30 years. We belong to the Lutheran church that many generations of my family have been members of. I guess it really does not matter what a church really looks like, but our church was built in or around the early 1900s. The architecture is really beautiful and majestically built in what some call the "Old World" style. It has beautiful stained glass windows and a glorious pipe organ. McGregor has become quite interesting as SpaceX has moved in. Sometimes the rocket tests can really rattle our windows, but it is kind of neat having them around.
McGregor is a small town outside of Waco, Texas. It is the perfect place to be if you don't enjoy the big town. McGregor is quite little town that has an amazing community. The town offers many opportunities to be connected with everyone, from founders day to crawfish boils.
