Great town. Beautiful homes, hardly any crime. Just not that diverse. Lots of places to eat nearby and there is a store to grab groceries from instead of going out of town. There are quite a few parks, and a lot more homes are being built near my home. The education here is pretty good. I went to the middle school and am currently attending the high school. I think I will be well prepared for high school. Again, just wish the place was more diverse because sometimes it can be hard tying to fit in.
It has a nice, small downtown. There are many restaurants, most locally owned and operated. There are multiple parks and there are many bike paths that run through the town.
In the town of McFarland, the small education system teaches many by focusing on each student and their learning abilities. My favorite part of McFarland is the community ice arena. I am a figure skater, so I have been to many ice rinks in the area, and McFarland by far has the best rink. The ice is olympic size, the small lobby is well maintained, and also the locker rooms are all large. The skating and hockey associations at the rink are also really well organize.
