I love the diversity that’s found in McDonough. I spend a lot of days of my year here because it’s where my niece and nephew live. There are a wide range of interesting activities for children and grownups alike so I’ve never felt bored in McDonough. Just today I brought my niece and nephew to a place called SkyZone. It’s a large indoor area where kids can jump in extensive bounce houses, swing on ropes, play basketball, and enjoy arcade games. It was a fun experience for both the toddlers and I. On another note, the array of restaurants to try out in McDonough is amazing. Most restaurants in town serve high quality, unique foods and are owned by kind, likeable people. I’ve never felt unsafe while walking through the streets. All in all, McDonough is a great place to live and raise a family.

I love the McDonough area! The location is easily accessible form I-75 via multiple exits along along the interstate. There are many exciting local activities throughout the year, many of which take place on the McDonough town square. There are many local restaurants as well as commercial restaurants for dining all around the city. McDonough is a well diverse community and offers something for everyone. We love the Ola Elemenatry, Ola Middle, and Ola High Schools. They're some of the best in the in the area. We love McDonough and plan on being here for quite some time.
I've only lived here 8 months but thus far we are enjoying it after moving from Conyers. I read a prior review that's actually on point from what I've seen. The town square often has many activities throughout the year and there's plenty of nice shopping venues nearby. Schools are about average across the county but there are several that score better than average. I purposefully bought a home in the Union Grove district which has two of those high graded schools. Reasonably priced resale homes have since become hard to find. Mostly new construction at this point and prices are going up...which is good for overall values. Crime to me seems low. We don't see or hear too much around this area of McDonough. I was surprised ratings were at a C. Of course there's always parts of a city that are not as good as others. It's within 30min to downtown Atlanta and other major attractions but far enough to be away from the hustle.i like it and will stay for a while!
