    McDade Reviews

    1 review
Its an alright town to grow up in. The aesthetic is nice and the people are friendly enough. The town voted no for ACC and therefore I have to pay out of district tuition to go to school. The public schools have improved over the years due to increased funding from improved test scores. Its a fairly safe environment, asides from the traffic on the 290 Highway. There have been many fatalities there over the years, two of my friends included.
There is nothing really to do during the night in McDade if you are not acquainted with any of the locals. It is a fairly cheap place to live, but property taxes have slowly been climbing over the years due to the increased growth.
It is primarily a white and Hispanic town that is about twenty minutes from the nearest city. There are labor jobs available or jobs as gas station attendents.
