Maypearl, TX will give you that small hometown feel that your looking for. I graduated from Maypearl High School; great school district that strives their students for excellence. Great town, filled with great people.

Maypearl is grographically located in a valley so flooding can be an issue depending on where you live.

I absolutely love my hometown Maypearl. It is a small town in Texas. Everyone knows everyone and it is a very close knit community. The teachers are very caring and help the students because they want them to succeed. Even though we don't have many restaurants or stores our town is unique.
I grew up in Maypearl my whole life. Overall, the town is a decent town. There seems to be more people moving in from the city making it not such a small town anymore. There is a lot of small town drama and the school is ran with crooked politics. Your child only gets a chance if you have money and there is always something going on that has half the town's tail feathers ruffled.
