I have lived my entire Life in Mayaguez, and the ambient is different from other cities. There's a vast variety of youths and elders living in the city. Through the day it's very calm around, at night it's a bit different, more wild I would say. The education in Mayaguez is somewhat moderate, but it could be better.

One of the best college towns inPuerto Rico. Like many places in Puerto Rico, there is a lack of public transportaiton in the area and generally getting from place to place without a vehicle is quite difficult.
Mayaguez is my home town. I born and raised here. Is not the best place to live because is noise, but in comparison with the other main cities in Puerto Rico is better. I think that is better because of the traffic and the people are gentle and humble. It have everything that big cities has, but easy going. Is a good place when you set yourself here.
