Mauriceville Reviews

I have lived in Mauriceville for about ten years now and this is what I consider to be my hometown. I love how small and close the town is and with one main "town-square" everything is easy to get to and navigate. We have a couple of fast-food joints, a grocery store, some dollar stores, gas stations and some restaurants. With Beaumont, Texas just about twenty minutes away its the perfect commute to anything else you would need. Mauriceville school district is wonderful and everyone, including myself has nothing but positivity to say about it. I am acquainted with almost all of the surrounding towns, but Mauriceville will always be special to me.

This area is economically disadvantaged. There is not much money invested in the area to develop business or housing. It does not grow like other areas in the region. I see stagnation in the future.
There is a lot of theft in this area. Jobs are scarce and poverty has risen. Police are available and present.
