I like how safe it is. When my family moved from my hometown of Ankeny, Iowa, I was concerned about the safety of our new neighborhood. A quick drive to the police station soothed any worries I had. They (and many other citizens) assured us that Maumelle is an extremely safe place to live, and there are few crimes in the area. After six years of living here, I can fully agree with their comments. Maumelle is fantastic!

This is absolutely amazing, the views are amazing and what can I say, depending on where you are, it’s almost luxurious, so many trails you can ride bikes on or take a morning stroll. While also surrounded by amazing restaurants like Chicken Wangs III and Great Wall. I do not know anything to make it better, it’s already perfect. I’ve lived here for about a year and I am living the life, it’s almost as if I’m in a dream. And I thank my parents so much for guiding our family in this direction.
Something I love about Maumelle is that it is the perfect size for a community. It's right in between Conway and Little Rock but not as busy as Conway and not as dangerous as Little Rock. Maumelle is the perfect medium. I moved to Maumelle when I was 13 and immediately I felt a sense of peace and comfort. Maumelle brings me generous amounts of joy, however there are a few downsides to living in Maumelle. The downside that irritates me the most is the lack of variety of restaurants. Maumelle has mexican, pizza, fast food, and that's about all. Constantly eating these foods makes eating in Maumelle very boring, causing me to drive to Little Rock. Over the next few years I would like to see Maumelle expand in the variety of their restaurants. I would like to have a nice sit down restaurant where my family and I can go and have dinner. Overall Maumelle is an amazing town and I can not imagine living anywhere else.
