Most of the houses in this area that are available are houses that were affected in the 2006 flood, and some are re-done and nice (but you constantly worry about flooding again), while others are cob-jobs and are still crap. Parking is okay, but you usually don't have enough room for more than 2 cars - and not even side-by-side.

There are a few mom-and-pop shops, and those are absolutely fantastic, but they're mostly overrun by chain stores and big companies, unfortunately.
Most of the people around here work for Amphenol, which is incredibly hard to get in to, and they frequently lay off their employees. Other employment is hard to find, with a lot of competition between students and adults.
