Marysville is a small rural town, located about half an hour from the major city of Columbus. In Marysville you feel like a close knit family, as the community is very close. Here neighbors still talk to one another, good Samaritans help you out without being asked, there are many resources if you need them, and there is always something going on in the community. There are more parks than I can count, doggie parks, pavilion with a little water pad for kids, and many family owned businesses! My family and I really love it here! The only downfalls we have would be diversity and cost of living. There isn't much diversity here, which isn't ideal for our family. Luckily, I don't always feel like there isn't. Housing is expensive! Apartments aren't abundant, especially if you need a three bedroom. Overall, it has been a great place for our family to grow!

Marysville is a small town about 25 minutes outside of Columbus Ohio. We have one large high school, so there is no cross town rivalry. This means that all of the teenagers get along, with no team/school divisions. We have a few nice restaurants such as Boston's, Asian Bistro, and Leon's Garage. There is a bowling alley but not many teens go there. We had a roller skating rink many years ago, and our movie theater closed about 5 years ago. We keep hoping it gets reopened but nothing is happening yet. Our neighborhood is very safe, and we like to walk in the evenings. Everyone is friendly and says hello when we pass by. I like my small town!
Being founded in 1819, this town holds nearly two additional centuries of memories that are spread throughout the generations today. Besides the coffee shops, the apartments above those shops, and the sound of cars and laughter soaring above the old stone structures, there are people that fill the streets with a heart for change. The activities we do as a city invite those from miles away, showing them that we have something to celebrate; love and joy. We continue adding to this town history with music, fellowship, and joining together to make Marysville a better place. There are festivities that range from getting people on their feet to dance to grabbing a blanket to snuggle up for a movie right on Main Street. The biggest smiles I have ever seen are the ones I see here. The families that make up this beautiful town are the ones that have made it so special in the first place.
