Great little town with very nice down home people. Very friendly and happy people live in this small town. They wave, they smile, they plow and snow blow your driveway without any expectations. They watch out for your property.

A nice place to live and its getting better as the city is working on removing some of the few remaining abandoned homes and having messy people clean up.My biggest problem is the tap water is Awful And Expensive.I've enjoyed life in Marseilles and don't regret moving here in early 2013.
I know from personal experience, the police are great at responding. Even if only to a teenage girl that is paranoid someone has broken into their house, the police will show up to give said teenage girl a safe frame of mind and a sense of security.
