Mars Hill Reviews

Very small town which seems to house many underprivileged individuals or retirees who have settled in to a town near Asheville and hope to soak in the views. It is very good commute to Asheville which houses many amenities tourists are looking for. Much more needed within the community to make it more livable long term.

I just applied to Mars Hill University and we spent the weekend exploring the city and the university. I don't think I have been anywhere more beautiful than the area of Mars Hill, NC. Amazingly wonderful. The mountains, the hills, the fresh air, the architecture, and the citizens of the town. Very welcoming. I will love living and attending college here !
Not a lot to do or see other than great hiking. A few local restaurants but they have weird hours.
