Excellent school district and very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Minimal nightlife outside of local restaurants. Mars is super safe, and close to North Park, Moraine State Park and other outside activities. Great for families!
Great area! 5 mins from multiple grocery shops like Aldi, Giant Eagle, Shop n Save, and Walmart. In addition to shopping, there is plenty to do outdoors in this area - trails, swimming pools, and playgrounds are a short drive or walk away. Part of the North Allegheny school district, this is a great place to raise a family.
Mars is a peaceful growing area complete with it's own spaceship! The town is nestled among the hills of Pennsylvania just a forty-five minute drive north of Pittsburgh. A major state road runs through the town helping residents to quickly get to the highway or other destinations.
The area is filled with beautiful woods, wildlife and farms as well as shopping centers and many small and large businesses. Local charities, runs or festivals that residents can participate in to help bring the whole community together. And if this were not enough, national surveys have rated this area amonst the safest towns in America.
