Marquette, KS is a small town in McPherson county. I moved there about 7 years old and really enjoyed being there. This little town is quiet most of the time, but in a way peaceful. The nights were my favorite about it. Marquette is so restful at night and you can see the stars all night long. Sometimes during the summertime we would invite some family friends over and spend most of the talking and laughing in front of a open fire. Everyone knew everyone and if you got yourself into trouble your parents found out right away without you even saying anything. Lucky for me i wasn't a trouble child. Marquette is definitely a place to live if you love little, country towns.
