Best kept secret in Massachusetts....Cape Cod without the traffic. A true hometown where neighbors are friendly, people respect each other, and where people escape to when the world goes crazy.
i llove it it is so cool see many starrs at night it iis also very healthey heeree i love living here
The town is very nice and connected. The water and beaches are beautiful along with the shops. Marion also has some history being the general store and historical society.
It was a great town to grow up in as a child. I was able to run around with my friends without any extreme traffic that could be dangerous. It is a small town so most of the people know each other. It was very easy to run into someone when downtown or even in the town next door. I always felt safe while in Marion and still do to this day. Becoming a teenager it became a little more difficult, entertainment, wise since the town is small. Luckily the towns of Marion, Mattapoisett, and Rochester combined for middle and high school. Here was I was able to meet more people and find life long friendships. This helped to be able to spend time in a different town but it seemed as though my friends and I always ended up hanging out in my home town, Marion. It has always been a joy to be able to say I am from there and have had a wonderful time with my friends and family.
Marion is a gorgeous, quaint, waterside town just before Cape Cod. Although it is known for having a generally older population, many young families are moving in and their kids are flourishing in the local school system. Downtown Marion has a classic "town" look, with a cute general store and several mom and pop shops. Marion is a wonderful place to raise a family or to spend retirement.
Marion is a rich people's town. If you have the money for it, it is one of the best possible places to live. The school systems are very accepting of other cultures. I have heard though, that is difficult to get in from school choice.
Nice seaside town. Family-friendly beaches. Cool place to grow up. Kind neighbors. Good school system. Fun holiday celebrations. Quiet nights. Safe area.
Marion is a cute town where everyone knows each other. It's beautiful and has a nice beach. Best town for sailors.
The cops sit all over town, in in between areas just in case there's ever an emergency. They're very professional and friendly, they do a great job.
There isn't much to do in my town, but it's a vacation spot for many including Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Grover Cleveland. My town has a lot of history yet continues to be moderately quiet. We are home to Tabor Academy prep school and Sippican elementary school. Its a great town to raise your kids, and I would choose to live here again if given the option.
The houses are mostly all unique in the neighborhoods, they are built strong and have a lot of nice character. Everyone has a nice sized yard with beautiful landscaping and gardens.
Many people in my area are healthy and love living healthy lifestyles, they exercise frequently. For kids, there are many sports leagues and we have public and private exercise facilities.
The law enforcement is phenomenal in this area! Very safe town, low crime rate, excellent community.
We have a few restaurants that stay open all year round and they have really fresh local seafood dishes as well as traditional American dishes.
Many people that live in this town are wealthy and have great paying jobs nearby or in the town. Many people also own their own businesses in the town because of the summer season when business is going very well. Part time jobs are out there for many high school students as well.
Marion is a small town situated right next to the water, we have a very small population but it is such a beautiful ocean side town. The population rises in the summer when the out of state residents come to their summer homes. The crime rate is very low and the neighborhoods are beautiful and peaceful. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The community is very friendly and they are supportive. The beaches are so nice and in the summer are filled with people. There are quaint little shops that are in historical buildings. We have an elementary school and preschools. The high school is in the town right next door.
