Born in raised in Marietta I have spent the past twenty-four years exploring, absorbing, and enjoying all that the entirety of Marietta has to offer. Most people will associate the more prominent East Cobb with Marietta but the city has more to offer. From all of Cobb County encompassing the areas prominent schools to the industrial side of Cobb Parkway flourishing with small businesses you can find just about anything anywhere you go. Littered with culture, diversity, and hospitality I have been blessed to experience amazing food, great entertainment (movie theaters, recreation centers, nightlife, and more), and an overall abundance of people to meet and connect with. Whether you are looking to settle down, find a new job, or explore something new Marietta has it all. This city provides great access to other prominent areas in the state including Roswell, Alpharetta, Kennesaw, and even downtown Atlanta!
Overall, I like Marietta. There are a lot of green spaces visit and keep active at. There are trails that run alongside the Chattahoochee River that you can walk, bike, and run. I'm located close to the knew Truist Stadium, so live baseball is less than 10 minutes away. I'm also situated near Cumberland Mall, which makes shopping convenient as well as boasting the perks of living near all of the entertainment that the mall-area has to offer. The best part, perhaps, is that I am near my school which is located in the business district of the Cumberland area.
Something that I would change about Marietta is the amount of traffic that can sometimes take over the city. I understand that this is an issue that came about with the growing number of people moving here. I can't entirely blame people for wanting to live here because all-in-all it's a great suburb outside of Atlanta to live in!

I recently moved to Marietta and I love it! Marietta has so many different activities to participate in, so you are never be bored. The area has diversity, so there are many different variations of food to try all over. There are many shopping areas, and places to spend time with family. Other towns are nearby, so travel to other cities is easy. There is also easy access to the interstate, so further travel would also be simple.
