This city is well put together. There are some cons but the pros outnumber them. This city has arguably one of the best public schools in the Dallas area. A few cons are the traffic. It gets really bad from 6:30 am to roughly 9:00 am then again from 2:30 pm (high school traffic) to nearly 7 pm. The traffic gets really bad during football games. One pro is that there is a good variety of restaurants and grocery stores to go to. Mansfield is also the center point between Dallas and Forth Worth. They are both about 30 minutes from Mansfield. Their neighborhoods are safe, take note there are the occasional minor crimes like speeding cars and stuff. This city is VERY diverse. Overall this city reminds me of Frisco and is (in my opinion) one of the best places to live in Texas!
Overall, I enjoy the school district that MISD has to offer as well as the friendly community. After attending elementary, middle, and current high school at Mansfield Independent School district (MISD), I have noticed that there are many very beneficial opportunities for my education in the future. There are courses at the Ben Barber Academy and Frontier STEM Academy where we are able to take electives reflecting on our future careers. There, we have smart hospitals, culinary kitchens, robotics, pharmacy labs, construction, and welding worship all available to us in high school. Mansfield ISD has great friendly neighborhoods and is very family friendly with diversity and healthy living. Overall, Mansfield is one of the best cities in Texas due to its schools and healthy environment. They have been highly proficient with test scores and allow students to complete score cards to ensure college and life readiness.
The city is very lovely, and the people are very friendly. Over the past few years the city has gained lots of new residences due to its great school district and it quiet and peaceful environment. Having lived in this city for over ten years I can say that it feels like a very safe city. Although the city is wonderful, I would love to see more places where people can gather and interact with one another. Most hang out places here in Mansfield are too spread out making it difficult to plan activities. All in all, this city is great and I am proud to have grown up in an environment as friendly as this one.
