I was born and raised in Manorville, New York. Manorville is a quiet town for the most part. Residential areas are wooded and we are located within the pine barrens. It's a beautiful town, especially throughout the fall and spring. The pace starts to pick up around summertime as many people are passing through on their way to the Hampton's, Montauk, and out to the city. There are a handful of family friendly activities, including the Long Island Game Farm and Warterdrinker farm. There is little to no racial nor political diversity. The streets are run by kids on quads, motorbikes, and golf carts.
I grew up in manorville and honestly place is the cats pajama's. It’s got some hidden gems you just gotta get out the house and find them. Gotta say the pizza and bagels slap so not many complaints about food except there could be a diner or a nice restaurant on county road 111 where the old pizza place is which has been closed for a long minute. There isn’t to much to do unless ur tiger woods, manorville has 3 golf courses so if you like golfing you will love it here. Also there are a lot of trails you could ride in or walk your dog through. All and all manorville is a great place to grow up you will make a ton of life long friends but a place where you will need to move away from and expand your views on the world cause there isn’t much to do in manorville once you do grow up.
Manorville is a very family friendly place, lots of side roads and farms to visit. There are many places to apply for work for people of ages 14 and up, conveniently located on route 111 near the expressway. Middle ground between the expressway and sunrise highway, and conveniently close to Riverhead and the Hamptons. Nice place to live!
